Background:
 Bawuli is a member of the Rirratingu Clan and Dhuwa moiety. She has had working experience at Dhanbul Landcare in her time before Dhimurru.
Role at Dhimurru:

We do patrols around Nhulunbuy and Indigenous Protected Areas with the IPA men and Sea Rangers men.We check for permits around Lombuy, Galuru, Wirrwawuy, Malpi lookout, Gumunhiya and Banambarrnga. We pick up the rubbish and nets and clean the beaches.

Bawuli is also able to help with the identification and providing Yolngu names for plants in the local area.
Comment:

I wanted to work for Dhimurru because they wanted to start the Miyalk ranger programme. It is manymak (good) working with  IPA and the Sea Rangers (men)
because we look after the land and sea.
