Lisa started off in South Australia completing her schooling there in 1982. She did a diploma in Natural Resource Management at Roseworthy College then began a career focused on the Environment that took her into the territory, and finally to Nhulunbuy. She has worked for numerous placed around the area including, Dhanbul Landcare, the Primary School and lastly Laynhapuy as the Miyalk Facilitator there.  

The Miyalk Ranger Facilitator works closely with the miyalk rangers at Dhimurru on a number of projects including AQIS Mosquito and Ant monitoring, plant and bushtucker knowledge and helping out the other rangers with their projects.

I have a strong interest in the environment, art, Yolngu Culture and the interactions between Land and Culture. I look forward to supporting the Yolngu community to get fully involved in the process of caring for country and culture.
