Before coming to Dhimurru, Paul was with QLD Parks and Wildlife for 3 years, most currently stationed in the Bunya Mountains. He has a Bachelor in Protected Area Management but has never quite applied that to Indigenous Protected Areas until now.

Paul's role will include heading up the IPA Ranger Team as they design and implement projects such as Baru (croc) management, Fencing and track work.

I love it here, the people are really nice and I love the fishing. I'm enjoying learning one of Australia's true culture, the language; Yolngu Matha, the local plants and animals and kinship.
