18/9/2014

Senior Ranger Fiona Yupunu Marika has won her category for NT Indigenous Student of the Year at the NT Training Awards held in Darwin this week.

Yupunu works as a Dhimurru Ranger and has completed her Cert II in Conservation and Land Management. She was put forward by her trainer at the Batchelor Institute because of her combined commitment to her studies and her young family.

Both the Batchelor Institute and Dhimurru are delighted that her dedication and achievements have been recognised in this way.

We now wish Fiona all the luck in the world as she heads to the National Training awards in Adelaide this November!
