Background: |
Larrpan was adopted by the Burarrwanga family from Matamata. Before moving to East Arnhem Land, he was Research Fellow at the School of Economics, University of Queensland. He has worked extensively on natural resource management, environmental valuation, and climate change. His position is supported by Dhimurru and Charles Darwin University (CDU). |

Role at Dhimurru: |
Larrpan works with the Rangers to coordinate and implement management strategies for the Dhimurru's Indigenous Protected Area. He also works with the School of Environmental Research (CDU) to design and implement research projects on climate change adaption, environmental valuation, and sustainable tourism. | |
