As Director, Djawa represents the traditional owners of the Miwatj Region in NE Arnhem Land locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. The Director has overall responsibility for the staff and operations of Dhimurru and ensuring that members and the committee are fully informed about Dhimurru's activities.
